"At big parties you are a number, at Lennmedia you are a human being" - Gunther Hoffmann

You're a tax consultant, your whole job revolves around phone calls and emails with clients and the IRS. Then you don't want your IT systems to let you down. And above all, if something goes wrong, you don't want to end up in an endless queue.

When, in 2010, I started out on my own, I stayed with the same IT provider. But when they were taken over by a larger party, everything changed. Suddenly I was no longer Gunther, but customer number so many. That didn't work for me. I needed a party where I felt treated as a human being, where I could ask "stupid" questions without feeling burdened.

Through neighbors in the same building, I ended up at Lennmedia. First for telephony, but soon took over all IT support. The choice was actually very simple: I wanted a small-scale party where I always get the same person on the line. Someone who knows and understands my situation.

The beauty of IT is that you only miss it when it doesn't work. And in my work as a tax consultant, where I'm in constant contact with clients and the Inland Revenue, I can't afford to have a breakdown. The most important thing for me is that if there is a problem, I am heard. That I don't end up in a queue, but get someone on the line immediately who knows exactly how my system works.

Since 2018, Lennmedia has had my website, telephony and other IT issues under their care. Switching was surprisingly easy. What I like most? The short lines of communication and quick response. Whether I app, email or call - the team always responds quickly, especially in case of breakdowns.

The advantage of a personal IT partner is that you don't have to explain your business over and over again. The team knows my situation, knows what I need, and can therefore act much faster than an anonymous help desk.

And honestly? Of course, it also helps that he sits nearby and even manages my alarm. But most importantly, I'm at Lennmedia not a number, but a human being. And in a world of automated choice menus and chatbots, that's worth more than you think.
